Jaume: "This is the team that we want to be"
Valencia CF goalkeeper Jaume Doménech had another superb game between the sticks against FC Barcelona, keeping a clean sheet against the side who came into the match as LaLiga leaders.
The stopper spoke to VCF Media after the game to give his thoughts on an excellent display and a 2-0 win at Mestalla.

"We're very happy with the way the entire team played. Overall, I think that it was a very complete game and that we were worthy winners," he commented.
"We've gone two games keeping clean sheets. Today that was very difficult, because we were up against FC Barcelona, but I think that the entire team did a magnificent job of defending. We should highlight that and continue in the same way."

The result was another example of Valencia CF's strength at home, and Jaume insists that this is a massive boost for the team.
"We are showing that at Mestalla we are a tough side to beat and very consistent. In attack we create a lot of chances, and defensively we are keeping clean sheets and allowing very few chances. I think that this is part of our DNA, and carry it over to when we play away from home," he explained.
"This is the team that we want to be, and what we want to show to our fans. We need to consolidate this so that we don't have games that aren't so good, such as the one we had the other day in Majorca. Little by little we are getting closer to where we want to be. We have to continue in this way by working hard, and gradually we'll get to the objective we want to achieve."
As for his own run in the starting lineup, the captain reiterated that he is at the disposal of coach Albert Celades whenever required.
"I'm happy to have been able to help the team. I'll keep working and be available for when the coach considers it necessary for me to play. I will always help my teammates."
