This Wednesday two young talents took an important step in their careers, making their debut for VCF Mestalla in a friendly against Villarreal B.
Rubén Iranzo and Javi Navarro played 45 minutes in the preseason encounter, and were satisfied with their achievement and contribution.
"I am very happy and proud about making my debut," Iranzo told VCF Media. "This is my tenth season at the club, and moving up step by step at my boyhood club is a source of pride for me. It encourages me to keep working to reach more milestones. We have to keep preparing ourselves and keep striving to improve; rewards like this give us great joy.”
Whilst Iranzo has spent his whole life at the VCF Academy, whilst Navarro was part of the Cadete A side last year. He added that “Taking leaps forward is great, but you have to keep up your hard work and sacrifice. The truth is that the pandemic has put everything on hold, and we are really looking forward to doing what we enjoy.”
Several other younger players are working on a daily basis with VCF Mestalla, coached by Óscar Fernández, amongst them Charly, Joseda, Iván Muñoz, David Ruiz, Carles Aliberch,, Andrés Céspedes, Facundo González, Pedro Alemañ, César Tárrega, Jesús Vázquez , Fran Pérez, Hugo González, Jordi Escobar and Yunus.
