The Valencia CF squad moved one step closer to a full return to action on Monday, as individual training sessions made way for workouts in groups.
The Ciudad Deportiva saw the players get back to passing, crossing, shooting and saving, in a session that more closely resembled the regular format used by Albert Celades' men.
The coach was overseeing the morning's drills, whilst also present was Valencia CF president Anil Murthy. The latter spoke to some of the players before they began training, getting their feedback on the progressive resumption of activity.
The squad were split into groups of 10, and all involved were satisfied with the ability to interact with one another. Ball movement work was quickly adapted to, even after months without a connection with teammates.
Permission to train in groups also provides the coaching staff with the chance to speak to players together, and to vary the exercises that they have been using over the past week. Fitness and sharpness is increasing, thanks to the preparation of the past 9 days, and a potential return to competition is drawing ever closer.
