Get to know Kang In's idol
When Marcelino decided to replace Kang In, the Mestalla fans got up. The South Korean footballer continues taking steps in his progression, at all times with his feet on the ground and aware of how much he still has to improve, but... who was his idol?
As the footballer recognizes to VCF MEDIA, as a child he watched many videos of Maradona. His father, Woon, is a great football enthusiast who recorded games in his youth of the Argentinian football player that he has later seen with Kang In. Their soccer fell in love with both of them. One of their favourite games where they keep remembering moments was the World Cup in Mexico 1986 when Argentina won against South Korea 3-1. That day he did not score, but he shined the most.
Currently, Kang In looks at many players to try and enhance their virtues, paying attention to how good they are and taking very good note of the movements they make on the pitch. He likes watching a lot of football to keep on learning, at 17 he is aware that he has a lot of room for improvement.
