Gayà: "We tried until the end, and it wasn't to be"
José Luis Gayà talked to the media following a 3-1 defeat to FC Barcelona on LaLiga Matchday 9, and made clear his frustration with the result.
"It was a difficult game. We went 0-1 up and they equaliser very shortly afterwards. The game got away from us. The team tried, right until the end, and it wasn't to be," said the VCF captain.

"We will focus on the next game, against Mallorca. They will also make things difficult for us, but we have to go out there with motivation in every game that remains. There is still a long way to go, and we have to keep moving forward. We came here with the intention of winning, and that's what we tried to do. It wasn't to be, and now we will focus on the next game."
