Garay: "We're going to Glasgow to get a good result"

Ezequiel Garay is one of the Valencia CF players who has prior experience against this Thursday's opponents, Celtic. The centre back travelled to Celtic Park back in September of 2012, when lining up for Portuguese side Benfica, to play in the Champions League group stage. That game ended 0-0, and the Argentine is hoping for another clean sheet when he returns to Scotland with VCF.
"Celtic Park was incredible. It's a very beautiful ground with a spectacular atmosphere, and it's really nice to play at places like that. You appreciate playing there because of the atmosphere of those games," the Argentine explained to VCF MEDIA.
"The fans there are very passionate and they support their side to the fullest; right from the warmup they are there. It's incredible.
"I scored against them for Benfica in the home game. I hope I can score against Celtic again, because that would be a good away goal for us. Hopefully we can take a good result and have a good game."
"We are Valencia CF, we have a great team, we can score at any time because of the quality of our players, but we also know that it's going to be difficult," warns Garay. "They will come out strong, and they've gone seven games without conceding. We're going there to get a good result and to have a good game."
Garay has reached the Europa League final on two occasions, and hopes to finally lift the trophy this year with Valencia CF.
"We know that we have a team that can fight for everything, and we're motivated about getting to the final. Hopefully I can play a third final, and put to rest the demons of the previous two."
