Gabriel Paulista: "The four games that we have left are like finals and that is how we are going to face them"
Gabriel Paulista talked to VCF MEDIA after Valencia CF's 2-3 defeat against FC Barcelona, in which he scored the opening goal.
An insufficient result
"At home it is good that we are performing well. We fought right to the end. Against opponents like we had today, we can't 'gift' much, because they don't make mistakes. We gifted them two goals. It's a result that hurts, and we have to continue with the good feeling that we have at home. We need to transfer thhat to our away form too -because that is where we are really finding it hard."
Four remaining 'finals'
"They scored their third goal and we were a little deflated, but we quickly got back into the game. We fought until the last minute to find an equaliser, but it was not possible. Now we have to focus on the next game. The remaining four games are finals for us. We have to face them like finals, and that is what we are going to do."

Improving for the coming matches
"Today was also a final for us. It was a good game because FC Barcelona also needed to win. For the next game we will continue to perform the same, or better. We have to improve many things. We will analyse what we have done wrong and improve on it. It is never too late to improve. We are going to go for those necessary points."
Helping the team
"I try to help my teammates as much as I can, but when you give away a goal it hurts you. We are going to improve and approach the coming matches as finals, because Valencia CF are not a club that should be in this situation. The players are responsible for this situation. I feel responsible and I have to improve to help my team."
