Valencia CF Academy, third in Spain for players developed in professional football
Valencia CF have 38 players trained at the VCF Academy competing in 49 leagues around the world
The joy of winning a trophy is incomparable. Even more so when you do it far away from home, 7323 km away. In Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) the Fundació VCF Cadete have made threir mark by winning the Al Jazira U15 International Cup, an international tournament that brought together teams from Spain, England, the Netherlands, France, Serbia and the United Arab Emirates.

The team coached by Ray Henric-Coll won the final by 1-0 against Charlton Athletic (UK) on Sunday, with a penalty goal by Víctor Durán, which gave the team the chance to celebrate the triump on the impressive Mohamen Bin Zayen Stadium pitch.
Fundació VCF Cadete closed out the tournament having won all five of their matches. In the group stage, beating Le Havre AC (France) 4-1, Al Ain (USA) 2-1, Charlton Athletic (UK) 6-3 and in the semi-finals Partizan Belgrade (Serbia) 5-1.

In addition, the Fundació VCF Cadete also won the individual player awards Víctor Durán was named best player of the tournament and Luis Romero was named best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Beyond the sporting result is the cultural experience enjoyed 7000 km away from home and the days of coexistence that reinforce the work of a Fundació VCF Cadete who are currently sitting fourth in the Lliga Autonòmica Cadete de la FFCV (Federació de Fútbol de la Comunitat Valenciana), with two matches left to make up, in a competition which is being led by table-toppers VCF Cadete.
