Fourth match keeping a clean sheet... and it's getting better

Defensive strength begins to see results in Marcelino’s team

It was not an easy stage or rival, but Valencia CF are starting to demonstrate its defensive power week after week and did it again at Old Trafford with a very worked 0-0 in the scoreboard that becomes the first point earned in Champions League. In addition, it is the fourth game in which the black and whites do not concede a goal after LaLiga games against Betis, Villarreal and Real Sociedad.

Neto was very confident before the Manchester powerful strikers and had a couple of great saves in two separate shots from outside the box, one from Rashford in the first half and, especially, in a free kick foul by Pogba in the 62nd minute. The French international hit the ball over the defense, but the Brazilian goal, very focus, cleared a corner in a great action.

The last minutes were tough on Valencia CF’s defense as Manchester was on the attack, with centers to the area, the defense was superb, with two great Garay and Gabriel Paulista in the air game. And Neto was the perfect complement with the rest of the teammates who worked until the last second to add a great point in the best possible scenario.
