Four VCF Mestalla players make first team debuts

The past month has seen a quartet of young talents make their first official appearances for Valencia CF

VCF Mestalla return to league action this weekend after a winter break for the competition, but some of the second team squad have been keeping busy this past month with appearances for the senior side.

Four players have made their official debuts for the club, with all four fielded in the Copa del Rey as they continue to develop their skills with an eye on taking the next step in their careers.

Jesús Vázquez

Jesús Vázquez debuted in the game against Terrassa FC on December 16th of last year. The 17 year old son of former Sporting Director Braulio Vázquez enjoyed his first minutes for the senior side after 12 years in the VCF Academy, including promotion to VCF Mestalla -for whom he plays at left back- and callups for Spain at youth level.

Guillem Molina

Guillem Molina also got a run-out in the cup game in Catalonia, and although the game against Terrassa FC was cut short for him due to a sending off, he would not have to wait long for his next appearance. The 20 year old right back, who has been part of the youth setup at the club for 7 seasons, was brought on for his LaLiga debut against Sevilla in place of the injured Gabriel Paulista.

K. Koba Lein

A French midfielder with roots in New Caledonia, K. Koba Lein was used in the Copa del Rey encounter against Terrassa and also started against Yeclano Deportivo in the same competition. In between, he participated in the final minutes of the match against Granada CF, and also scored a sensational goal for VCF Mestalla against Atletico Levante.

Kevin SIbille

The most recent debutant for the Valencia CF first team is Argentinian centre back Kevin Sibille, who came straight into the starting lineup against Yeclano Deportivo. A signing for VCF Mestalla back in October of this year from River Plate, the 22 year old has now played for both the South American giants and the Valencia CF senior side in official competition.
