Foulquier: "The Copa del Rey is important to us and we want to give the fans a gift"

Dimitri Foulquier spoke to VCF Media just after the Copa del Rey semi final draw, which pitted Valencia CF against Athletic Club. The first leg takes place next Thursday at San Mamés, with the second leg coming at the beginning of March at Mestalla.
 
A tough draw
It's going to be a very difficult game, but we're going to try our best. The Copa del Rey is important to us and we want to give the fans a gift by going through.

That doesn't mean anything anymore (with no away goals rule). We have to compete in both games.

I can imagine what it will be like. We have experienced a very good atmosphere at games this year and the fans deserve some joy. We give everything on the pitch and we will continue to do so.
 
A chance for personal revenge
When we were little, we all dreamed of playing both in LaLiga and in the Copa del Rey. I have already played a semi-final with Granada, which we lost against Athletic Club. I hope to reach the final this year.
