Valencia CF play Sporting Clube de Portugal at the José Alvalade in Lisbon on Sunday evening, at 7pm local time. It will be a chance for two players to go up against their former clubs, and VCF Media brought the pair together to talk about their time with the opposing team.
Cristiano Piccini spent a year at the Portuguese club in 2017/18, before signing for Valencia CF. Jeremy Mathieu had a five-year spell at Valencia CF from 2009 to 2014. The two coincided during Piccini's time in Portugal, and won the Taça de Liga cup competition together with a victory over Vitoria de Setubal.
The former teammates had some questions for each other, as well as congratulations for their respective domestic cup victories last season in the Copa del Rey/Taça de Portugal/Taça da Liga. Watch the video to find out what they had to say.
