Five Valencia CF players secure Qatar 2022 qualification

Five Valencia CF players have earned automatic qualification for Qatar 2022 World Cup for their respective countries:
José Luis Gayà and Carlos Soler for Spain, Uroš Račić for Serbia, Daniel Wass for Denmark and Jasper Cillessen for the Netherlands.
Daniel Wass and Denmark secured their World Cup berth in the previous international break.
Gonçalo Guedes’ Portugal side and Denis Cheryshev's Russia will go to the repechage after coming second in their respective groups.
Omar Alderete (Paraguay), Maxi Gómez and Yunus Musah (USA) still have a way to go in their qualifiers in Conmebol and Concacaf and will have to wait until at least the next international break to seal their presence in the upcoming World Cup.
