Spain aim to top Group A at U-21 EUROs
Cristhian Mosquera, César Tárrega, Javi Guerra and Diego López target victory against Italy
Following Friday's training session for the Valencia CF squad, Ferran Torresspoke to VCF MEDIA Radio to give his reaction to the UEFA Europa League draw, which saw the side drawn against FC Krasnodar.
"They are opponents who are going to make things difficult for us," said the teenager. "We're facing the tie as if it were a final, and we have to go for the victory to try to get through to the next round."
"In the end, the circumstances are what they are. We played away to Celtic first before a second leg at Mestalla, and this time we play at home first, but we're going to approach the tie in the same way.
"We're going to attempt to kill off the tie at home in front of our fans, but it isn't going to be easy," Torres warned.
The young talent also previewed Sunday's midday LaLiga game against CD Leganés.
"It will be a very intense game. We're only thinking about the match at Butarque now, and we want the three points. We are Valencia CF and we shouldn't be depending on results for other teams to climb up the table and get nearer to the European spots for next season."
