Ferran Torres has joined up with the Spanish Under-19s squad in El Albir (Alicante) in preparation for the European Championships, which will be held in Armenia from July 14th-27th.
The VCF Academy product enjoyed an excellent 2018/19 season for Valencia CF, including scoring his first goal at Mestalla and being part of the squad that won the Copa del Rey. He says that "Winning the European Championships would be the icing on the cake; I've rounded off the season very well. The opposition are very strong, but I believe a lot in this team."
The draw for the tournament will take place on May 31st in Yerevan. The teams involved are: Hosts Armenia, Spain, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Norway, reigning champions Portugal and the Republic of Ireland.
