Fan Zone in Seville brings together thousands of Valencianistas
Thousands of Valencianistas gathered in the Fan Zone outside the Benito Villamarín before the Copa del Rey final, enjoying the atmosphere on Saturday afternoon.
Amidst scorching temperatures reaching 39ºC, the devoted fans took to an 80m2 tent located just under a kilometre from the stadium, on Avenida de las Razas. Shirts, scarves, Senyera flags and more emblems of VCF were dominant as the Valencia CF fans 'invaded' Seville.
Fans enjoyed music, food trucks, a pop-up VCF Official Store, and areas with official products provided by Amstel and Coca-Cola. Mascot 'Amunt' was also in situ to meet with them.
President Anil Murthy was also in attendance, whilst VCF Legends Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo, Jorge López and Manuel Botubot -a Copa del Rey winner in 1979- signed autographs for supporters who still remember their glory days at the club.
At the end of the Fan Zone event, which featured the collaboration of sponsors such as Energía Valencianista, Alfa Romeo and Fritoper, Amstel and Coca Cola, the Valencianistas made the walk to the Benito Villamarín for the big game.
