Gonzalo lives 2,000 kilometres from Valencia, but distance has not diminished his passion for Valencia CF. He recently returned to Mestalla to honour the memory of his father. This is his story:
Taking passion for Valencia CF to Lanzarote
I am Valencian by birth and 30 years ago I went to live in the Canary Islands because I had to do military service there. I miss the region a lot, but I can't complain.
VCF DNA
Whenever I can, I come to Mestalla. It is difficult sometimes by work obligations. You never know when you will be able to return. In this case, it was due to a very sad issue, because it was for my father's funeral. Whenever I am at Mestalla, he will be with me.
Valencia CF as a religion
Valencia CF is almost like a religion in our family. We put the club above all else. Although we are 2,000 kilometres away, Valencia CF is inside me and that will be the case until I die.
