FAN STORY: A Valencianista wedding for Javi and Lidia

Javier and Lidia are a true Valencia CF couple. Everything began from childhood, on separate paths, but with a close bond with a club that would be present in the most important moments of their lives.

Time (and Lidia's sister) ended up bringing the couple of diehard Valencia CF fans together. Whether together or separately, at home or at the stadium, home or away, they support the club.

At Disneyland Paris, Javi asked Lidia to marry him. Whilst Valencianistas once cried in Paris due to a Champions League final defeat, this time around there were tears of joy.

Javier and Lidia suffered the frustration of having to cancel their wedding twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But they finally tied the knot with a Valencia CF-themed ceremony: The club anthem was played, hundreds of orange balloons decorated the venue, and two Valencianistas were united in matrimony.
