This past season, Valencia CF kicked off an ambitious digital transformation project – complete with a new website and app. With the habits of fans and consumers changing more and more every day, the club recognised it was time to respond to a new way of doing things. The ultimate goal is to create a seamless fan experience online and offline – offering everything from news to ticket sales via a mobile app.
Since the launch of the new website and app during the centenary celebrations this past March, fans have started using the app for regular news updates, player information, listening to matches via live radio, watching special content on livestream and buying and using their tickets at the stadium.
The digital transformation is off to a strong start, and the club are excited to unveil more exciting features and content during the upcoming 2019/20 season.
Valencia CF aim to be a leader in the sports and entertainment industry when it comes to the use of digital technology and therefore shared our story with LaLiga, which featured it in their global newsletter this week. Click here to read it in full:
