Coquelin fighting to be fit for Valladolid game
Francis Coquelin is likely to be in contention for inclusion in the squad for the game against Real Valladolid, which takes place on Saturday at 4:15pm CET at Mestalla.
The Frenchman has been recovering positively from a muscle injury to his left thigh, suffered in the LaLiga game against SD Eibar on December 15th. He has missed Valencia CF's last three fixtures, but has been feeling good in recent training sessions.
The squad had a session on Wednesday afternoon, the day after the 2-1 defeat to Sporting Gijon in the Copa del Rey, as they prepare for Saturday's encounter.
