Claudio Lopez is one of the most important international players to have ever played for Valencia CF. With his frenetic pace and skilled left foot he was capable of the most brilliant performances.
The Argentine player joined Valencia CF from Racing Club de Avellaneda, at a time when we was a total stranger in Europe. With him on board, Valencia CF won the Spanish Cup and the Spanish Super Cup.
He also played at the 1999/2000 UEFA Champions League finals, finishing runner-ups at the Saint Denis Stadium in Paris. The Argentine legend netted 76 goals, 52 assists in 196 appearances across four seasons at the club.
