Ciudad Deportiva to host Danone Nations Cup this weekend
The Valencia CF Ciudad Deportiva training ground will host the national final of the 2019 Danone Nations Cup -the largest tournament in the world at Alevín level- this weekend.
The competition has involved more than 2 million children aged 10-12 years old from 27 countries and five continents this season, and 300 will meet in the final Spanish stage on June 1st-2nd. There will be 12 men's teams and 8 women's teams and the winning side will represent Spain in the World Final of the tournament at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona on October 12th.

The draw and schedule for the Danone Nations Cup will be made on Friday, in the presence of Valencia CF legend and tournament ambassador David Albelda, plus VCF Femenino star Paula Nicart.
2019 marks the Centenary of both Valencia CF and Danone, who have been close collaborators.
The women's final will be played on Sunday at 12:45pm, with the men's final at 1:30pm.
