E. Barrenechea: "We are having a great second half of the season"
The Valencia CF midfielder speaks to VCF Media
As Valencia CF continue their fight to qualify for Europe, Jasper Cillessen has been regaining confidence between the sticks. The goalkeeper has performed well in recent encounters and been featuring regularly since the return to action for LaLiga.
Although results have not been going the team's way, the Dutchman has made some excellent saves in the past few weeks. Against Granada CF, he kept out shots from Carlos Fernández and Roberto Soldado in spectacular style.
A first choice shotstopper for the Dutch national team, Cillessen has been used by Valencia CF in the starting lineup in each of the seven games since the season resumed, and is determined to help the team to achieve their objectives for the remaining contests.
