Candela Andújar continues at VCF Femenino

Extends her loan agreement until 2022

VCF Femenino, FC Barcelona Femenino and Candela Andújar have reached an agreement that will see her remain at VCF Femenino for the 2021-22 season on a loan basis.

The 21-year-old player and born in Barberà del Vallés on the 26th March 2000, she will continue defending our colour following a season long loan where she has reached remarkable figures. Candela has 30 appearances and nine goals to her name in the Primera Iberdrola. 

The Catalan stands out for her versatility, quality and talent; capable of occupying different positions on the playing field, she is a quick and skilful player on the ball, intelligent with great cutting edge in front of goal.

She has been a permanent fixture moving up through the Spanish national team youth ranks being part of the Spain under-16, at under-17, they became European runners up and world bronze medallist, at under-19 level she featured in a European tournament and at under-20 level with whom she became World runner-up. Last season, now at VCF Femenino, she earned an under-23 call-up.
