Preseason work has begun at the Ciudad Deportiva, with a new man in charge. José Bordalás has been getting to know his players and is planning for the campaign ahead, and the coach spoke to VCF Media onboard a Škoda vehicle to give his first impressions.
The new incumbent in the dugout highlighted the desire with which he faces this new challenge.
"It will be very important. That's what preseason is for; the work is essential for the start of the season, for which we already know the date of our first match. We want to come into it in the best condition," says Bordalás.
He also commented that a high level of demand and work will be asked of his players.
"That is not because they are my calling cards, but because it is required by elite level competition and football as a whole. We have some time, and we are eager to start and to get to work. We are going to prepare well for this season, and we want it to be exciting."
