BIOGRAPHY: Hugo Duro
Hugo Duro (Getafe, Madrid - November 10, 1999) has joined Valencia CF on loan for the season, with an option for the club to buy him. The Spanish striker reinforces the attack and increases competitiveness amongst the players up front.

Hard work
Duro is an intelligent and hard-working forward, who always gives his all and is comfortable in the area looking for any chance to score. He is a free-shooting player who provides mobility in the attack, and an accurate passer. His focus extends beyond the pitch: In addition to his career, he is studying Mechanical Engineering.
Elite experience
Despite his youth, Duro already has a long history in the elite. After having come up through the youth system at Getafe CF, he made his debut with the first team in 2017. He continued to enjoy minutes in LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Europa League during the following seasons, until in 2020 he signed for Real Madrid to strengthen their B team. However, that same season he managed to make his debut under Zinedine Zidane, even playing minutes in the Champions League.

He has worked with Bordalás before
Duro worked under Raúl González at Real Madrid Castilla last season, but it is José Bordalás who knows him best. The Valencia CF coach is the coach who gave him his chance in LaLiga, and the man with whom he worked during his time at Getafe CF. Now they reunite at a new club.
