Biography: Bryan Gil
Bryan Gil (Barbate, Cádiz- 11th of February 2001) is the third addition for Valencia CF in this winter transfer window ahead of the second term of the 2021-2022 season.
The Spanish midfielder joins Valencia CF on a loan basis from Tottenham Hotspur FC to strengthen the attacking firepower of the squad as well as providing more options for José Bordalás.
At 20 years of age, Byan Gil boasts LaLiga experience after having shone for his former sides as well as making his senior debut for Spain.
He is looking forward to showcasing magic at Mestalla and continue growing in a Valencia CF shirt.
Dribbling wing wizard
Bryan Gil is a different kind of footballing prospect. He is an out-and-out daring left-footed player.
He operates on the left-wing, even though he can occupy different positions. He is adept at dribbling, occupying reduced spaces and beating the opposition’s press.
Bryan Gil is a talented attacking outlet, without neglecting his defensive duties who helps to press high up the pitch as well as tracking back when the team need it.
LaLiga experience
After having played in the Sevilla FC, CD Leganés and SD Eibar, Bryan Gil knows LaLiga perfectly.
Last summer, he made a permanent move to Tottenham Hotspur FC with 54 LaLiga appearances under his belt and had his breakthrough season at SD Eibar becoming one of the most audacious players of Spanish football.
Proven player
Despite his youth (he will turn 21 on the 11th of February), Bryan Gil is a proven player.
Besides his LaLiga experience, he boasts European competition appearances as well as senior caps for Spain.
Bryan Gil has a fine array of silverware: European under 19 winner, a Silver medallist at the 2021 Tokio Olympics and 2020 Europa League winner and he was included in the 2019-2020 Football Draft Golden XI.
