Back in training as attention turns to Alavés

One day on from their Champions League game at Mestalla, the Valencia CF squad were back in training at the Ciudad Deportiva on Thursday. There was a new focus for the players, namely the Saturday evening fixture against Alavés at Mestalla (6:30pm CEST).
Whilst VCF were unlucky against Ajax, they devoted the session to working on the mistakes made in the game and have set their sights on taking a second consecutive LaLiga win, building on their showing at San Mamés against Athletic Club.
Coach Albert Celades gave the starters from Wednesday night a gym session and put them through recovery work, whilst the rest of the squad trained on the pitch. There will be one final session on Friday, as well as the coach's press conference to preview the match.
