PREVIEW | VCF Mestalla aiming for their second win in the Premier League International Cup
The reserve team face Crystal Palace U21 this Tuesday (8:00 p.m.) in England
The match will be broadcast live on VCF Media
VCF Mestalla head coach, Miguel Ángulo, ran the rule over his side’s away win over Callosa Deportiva by 0-1 scoreline which saw his side reclaim the first place in group VI of Tercera RFEF with two games in hand.

“I’m really happy about the players’ shift in. We’ve had really good spells of play at times where we’ve had chances to extend the scoreline. We haven’t been clinical in attack on these types of pitches where the opposition play long balls and struggle from set plays but we saw a really committed side.

We were trying to dictate play and control the game. The surface did not help us at all it was really uneven and thus we gave away easy balls. We enjoyed goalscoring chances and if you don’t seal the game you might end up struggling.
The players interpreted the game to perfection trying to control the game at all times and seeing it out.
Hugo González has great striking prowess and that instep wicked drive goes up and dips really quickly which caught the keeper out. We’re happy for Hugo and for all the players coming on and off.
Every one of them is fighting for a place in the starting line-up which is complicated because the level is really high and that is making us be a really competitive side”.
