Mikel Crespo, new coach of VCF Femenino
The Basque coach brings experience in women's football in Spain, having guided Deportivo Alavés to promotion to the top tier during the 2020-21 season
VCF Femenino add 20-year-old forward Ana Marcos to their first-team squad who joins VCFF on loan through to the 30th of June 2021.
Ana was born in Seville on the 9th of July 2000, she was already on loan at Glasgow Celtic from Atletico Madrid, since February 2020. Goal poaching instinct, great strong aerial prowess, a prolific player that boasts grit and strength as her main attributes.
She is a two-time the Copa de S.M la Reina runner-up in 2017, and 2019 and LaLiga Iberdrola winner for Atletico Madrid.
The forward has been a permanent fixture moving up through the the Spanish national team youth ranks. She was crowned back-to-back U19 European Champion in 2017 and 2018.
