Alberto Marí: "I'm doing very well and, little by little, gaining confidence and good feelings"

Valencia CF striker, Alberto Marí, spoke on VCF Media RADIO about his recovery process and his return to training with the group.
Last phase of recovery
"I am doing very well. This week I have already participated with the group doing more exercises and we are in that moment of gaining confidence and getting back all the feelings. After so many months without training, at the beginning, it always costs more and little by little you have to get into a rhythm, which is what it costs. It has been almost 4 long months and after such a long time it would be foolish to rush now. When I feel confident and have a good feeling, the time will come and I'll be ready".
Preseason 2023-2024
“Yes I scored three goals at the stage. I was in good shape and I just continued the work from last season. I want to get back to that point."
Strong mentality
"It is complicated and even more so after having been at a good level and renewing. When you get the news you have to lean on your family and friends, who are the ones who will always be there. I am one of those who think that things happen and you have to be patient and calm. It's been long months, but I've taken advantage of it to dedicate more time to the gym to strengthen any weaknesses. You have to get into a rhythm, feel like a footballer again, touching the ball and shooting, which is also very good for your head".
Support from Valencia CF
"From within the Club, from the first day, both the coaching staff and my teammates and the people of the subsidiary have always been supporting me in whatever I needed. I am very grateful to everyone and I want to thank them. The doctors, physios, trainer... you spend a lot of time with them and apart from working with me, they act as a big brother and father, you spend so much time with them that you talk about everything in general. They have put some of their time into helping me and I am very grateful to them."
