8,500-plus attend open training session at Mestalla

A great fan turnout gives the team extra motivation ahead of the start of the season

Valencia CF completed a Friday training session open to the public at Mestalla, with the support of more than 8,500 fans. Those in attendance were not only able to watch training from up close, but also had fun with the actions organised by the club. Signed balls and club merchandise were also sent into the stands by the players for the occasion.

The team begin their LaLiga campaign on Sunday against Girona FC, in a 7:30pm kickoff.
