Valencia CF Women’s first team and Academy enjoy a family celebration of the 4 promotions
Historic milestone at the Club, with the A team to Liga F; the B team to 2ª RFEF; the C team to 3ª RFEF; and the D team to Autonòmica Valenta
‘Football is for women’this is the title of the ninth episode of the documentary '442 Reasons: VCF Academy', now available to all audiences. Since last year, the women's section has been fully integrated into the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna, a clear commitment by the club to the professionalisation of women's football.
Humility, work and equality. Three values that perfectly identify what the VCF Academy strives for. Although, the road to get to this moment has not been easy. Angy SanchÃs and Enith Salón, VCF Femenino’s players, and Natalia GarcÃa, VCF Femenino  B coach, tell their stories, from their beginnings to the present day.
"He who stops trying is lost." And it is that effort and sacrifice are two fundamental pillars that characterise women's football. Many years of work that, unfortunately, have been in the shadows for many years.
However, since 2015, specifically, since the World Cup in Canada, Spanish women's football is seeing a more than deserved boom. An effort, sacrifice and ambition that fully define each and of the football player working daily at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna and who dream of one day becoming players of the Valencia Club de Fútbol first team.
'This is how we are, this is how we compete'. An ELITE player project from the VCF Academy that continues growing and developing, increasing the number of players debuting with the first team. Undoubtedly, "there is a ceiling that we have to keep breaking, there is still a lot to grow and evolve, but we are prepared to take that leap that is just beginning, but we really have to take flight".
And it is that women's football and, specifically, football in the Valencia the region has a more than rosy future ahead of it.
