18 points available in the race for European spots

The team are fully focused on securing European football towards next season which is still very much in their hands and as of Tuesday they started preparations under caretaker head coach Voro
There are 18 points available in the race to secure European football next season. Valencia CF come into the decisive final run-in with six significant fixtures ahead of them, key to them reaching their objectives.
Every single point could prove decisive, starting on Wednesday night against Athletic Club. Caretaker coach Voro will be back in the dugout, where he will remain through to the end of the season, taking charge for his sixth spell.
Valencia CF managed to beat Athletic under Voro before, triumphing 2-0 thanks to the goals from Zaza and Nani in his most recent stint in 2017. Another victory would take the team one step closer to their aim for the end of the campaign.
