Such a feat had never previously been achieved by the club in their 100-year history, and overtakes the previous record of 16 games from 1924/26 and 1941/42.
The current run stretches back to January 22nd and a Copa del Rey game against Getafe CF. and includes 10 wins and 7 draws.
Since then, VCF have taken positive results against Getafe (3-1), FC Barcelona (2-2), Real Betis (2-2), Real Sociedad (0-0), Celtic FC (0-2), RCD Espanyol (0-0), Celtic FC (1-0), CD Leganés (1-1), Real Betis (1-0), Athletic Club (2-0), FC Krasnodar (2-1), Girona FC (2-3), FC Krasnodar (1-1), Getafe CF (0-0), Sevilla FC (0-1) and Real Madrid (2-1).
Up next is a trip to Vallecas to take on Rayo Vallecano, with game number 18 in the squad's sights.
