More than 150 players from Australia have enjoyed Training Experiences at the VCF Academy in recent months.
More than 15,000 kilometres separate Spain and Australia. Several hours -days- of flight time that are well worth it to get to know first-hand the Ciutat Esportiva del Valencia CF and the methodology of the Valencia CF Academy.
This is what more than 150 Australian players have done in recent months, who have travelled to Valencia to enjoy a Training Experience with the coaches of the VCF Academy, the fourth best in Europe in the training of players to compete at the elite level, according to the latest report from the CIES Footbal Observatory.
a great experience
The players travelled over from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Runaway Bay and Townsville and, together with their families, enjoyed a unique experience in the city of Valencia, both for the training sessions at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna and for the opportunity to watch several Valencia CF matches at Mestalla, as well as VCF Femenino and VCF Mestalla matches at the Antonio Puchades stadium and also for the opportunity to get to know Valencia, one of the best cities in the world to live in according to Forbes.
NEARLY A DECADE OF VISITS
The visits of groups of Australian players to the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna have been consolidated over time since 2015, when the first groups of players from the Sydney Football Academy came to visit, and have been repeated over the years, with expeditions from Melbourne's Futbal First, the Brisbane Youth Football Academy and the Professional Goalkeeper Tuition, which has several offices in Australia.
The relationship between Valencia CF and Australian football lovers has been extended over time and for 2024 has already closed several visits for March, September and October.
VCF TRAINING EXPERIENCES
The VCF Training Experiences are designed to suit the travel schedule of each team and each club for up to two weeks.
The aim is for the players to make the most of their visit to Valencia, including specific training sessions for goalkeepers, gym sessions with the VCF Academy's fitness coaches and visits to Mestalla, the stadium with the longest history in LaLiga, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023.
The VCF Training Experiences, together with the VCF Soccer Camps, the international alliances, the technical consultancy and the VCF Soccer Academy that the VCF Academy has in strategic markets in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia are part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs that help to expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colours symbolise worldwide. This Internationalisation Strategy has been a finalist in the World Football Summit Awards 2023.
In 2023, more than 5000 players and more than 50 countries have participated in these VCF Soccer Academy Programs, which in addition to expanding the image of Valencia CF and its philosophy around the world, aims to bring the training methods of Valencia CF to any part of the planet and spread the values that always accompany this Club, making the participants enjoy and learn from the hand of the best professionals of the Valencia CF Academy.
VCF Training Experiences, Valencia CF Soccer Camps, Training Stages, VCF Soccer Academy and Sports Consultancy services are just some examples of this great project.
