Work of Fundación Oceanogràfic recognised by 'ADN Mestalla Solidari'
Before Valencia CF's game against RCD Mallorca, club president of the Layhoon Chan, together with ambassador Ricardo Arias, welcomed Mario Romero and Emilio Badillo, from the Education and Conservation and Communication teams of the Fundación Oceanogràfic, to Mestalla.
The Fundación Oceanogràfic was created to reinforce and expand the work that the L'Oceanogràfic aquarium carries out to protect the marine environment. As a 21st century aquarium, the care and welfare of the animals in its care is the highest priority. The commitment of the Fundación Oceanogràfic is to provide new knowledge and inform and raise awareness throughout society, in order to improve the conservation of species and their natural habitat.
The raison d'être of the Fundación Oceanogràfic is the conservation of the marine environment, through the spread of knowledge, direct action and the creation of experiences that foster respectful attitudes towards marine ecosystems in society as a whole.
To date, in the 2022/23 season, the entities recognised by the club have been: Asociación de Donantes de Sangre de València, Casas de Acogida-ISO, Asociación de Familiares de Enfermos de Alzhéimer de València, Dragon Boat Marina Valencia and Fundación Oceanogràfic.
