Valencia CF's letter of appreciation to José Luis Zaragosí

Valencia CF wants to thank Dr José Luis Zaragosí for his involvement, commitment and proven experience as a member of the board of directors and VCF Foundation patron over the last few years.
Highly regarded as an honourable and respected person in his own right within the Valencian society, Zaragosí has selflessly contributed with his passion and sensitivity in every way as a Valencia CF representative. The Club cannot be anything but proud of having drawn on his exceptional collaboration, painfully accepting his personal request to step aside and resign in face of the pressure and the ever-growing hateful criticism which has escalated over the last few weeks.
Dr. Zaragosí has been self-critical by admitting not having achieved the main goal that was raised when he accepted to be part of the Valencia CF Board of Directors, which was to mediate to achieve social peace. As a result, by coherence and responsibility he has tendered his resignation.
Zaragosí is a great Valencianista that has guided and helped out Valencia CF even before being a board member and VCF Foundation trustee. Over the last few years, he has been a pivotal figure in terms of social welfare, which was, is, and will continue to be one of the key lynchpins of the project which bears his personal imprint, reflecting his great knowledge as a prestigious doctor.
Valencia CF thanks him for his leadership in the Escoles Cor Blanquinegre project, which has contributed to the social inclusion of the younger ones; thanking him for his leadership and support in LaLiga Genuine project, as well as his guidance and help to organise the Centenary events, where he was a silent but yet key figure leaving his mark on the heart of the Valencianismo.
Zaragosí will always be a true and caring person distinguished by helping the society at all times. Valencia CF has had the honour of having an educated person with a privileged perspective. That is why the doors of the Club will always be open for him.
His work has been totally and absolutely selfless, helping with no economic benefit for his work at Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation and since his arrival, his contribution has been focused one hundred per cent on helping the team and this century-old entity.
