Valencia CF and IMED Hospitales extend ties until 2025
The Valencian hospital group IMED Hospitales will extend the relationship as the Official Supplier of Valencia CF for two more seasons. The Club's medical services continue to rely on the IMED Valencia hospital facilities for diagnostic tests and specialised sports medicine services.
This centre, inaugurated in 2017, is the flagship of IMED Hospitales, a hospital group that currently has 5 general hospitals (Benidorm, Elche, Valencia, Gandía and Alcoy), 4 polyclinics (Teulada, Torrevieja, Gandía and Alcoy), an oncological radiotherapy centre (Murcia), a high-tech diagnostic imaging centre (Alicante) and a healthcare centre for foreign patients (Villajoyosa). IMED Hospitales has expansion plans that will reaffirm it as the most important hospital group in the Mediterranean area.
As a result of this agreement, the first team players of Valencia CF and VCF Femenino, VCF Mestalla and Juvenil A will continue to undergo pre-season medical examinations at the IMEDUCV facilities, the specialised high-performance sports unit that was created in 2021 through the alliance between IMED Hospitales and the Catholic University of Valencia.
The Catholic University of Valencia. IMEDUCV has quickly become the reference centre for professional and amateur athletes in the city of Valencia, thanks to its technological equipment and a team of professionals highly specialised in the different areas of sports medicine.
IMED Hospitales and Valencia CF also demonstrate their commitment to safe sport and are committed to carrying out joint research projects in this area.
