The VCF Academy to participate in LaLiga Promises double edition

This year sees a double edition of LaLiga Promises the most prestigious 7-a-side football tournament nationwide celebrates its 30th anniversary with a double serving thus, alongside the XXX edition of LaLiga Promises for Under 12’s players which will take place from May 28th to May 30th a week later a second edition will take place for Under 13’s players corresponding to last year’s edition which could not be held due to the pandemic.

The VCF Academy will participate in both editions of LaLiga Promises, The VCF Academy sides have reached the final in the last eight editions of this high-end tournament.

Both editions will be played under the same format a group stage made up by five teams and knock out rounds for the last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the finals with much reduced time matches which will be held in Villarreal.

A blended VCF Alevin side will represent the VCF Academy in the XXX edition of LaLiga Promises which will take place from May 28th until May 30th. The VCF Academy side will be made up by players born in 2009 which have been placed in group B alongside Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad SD Huesca and SD Eibar.

They will play their opening game on Friday May 28th at 10:30 am kick-off time against Real Sociedad. The last 16 will take place on Saturday and on Sunday 30th the semi-finals and the final.  

A week later, from June 6th until June 8th a blended Infantil side will represent the VCF Academy in the XXIX edition of LaLiga Promises. The team will be made up by players born in 2008. They have been placed in the same group with teams the likes of Sevilla FC, Real Sociedad, CD Leganés and Granada CF they will play their opening game on Friday June 6th at 10:30 am against Real Sociedad, the last 16 and the quarter-finals will take place on Saturday June 7th and the semi-finals and the final on Sunday June 8th.
