A Valencia CF Camp in the heart of New York
It was held this August at Randall’s Island Park, the largest outdoor sports facilities in the Big Apple.
Children from the Residencia Socio Educativa Colonia San Vicente Ferrer, in Burjassot, visited the Ciudad Deportiva as part of the #AcademiaEnComunidad project this week, catching up with youngsters from the VCF Academy. The trip was a continuation of the initiative that had seen players from the youth system travel to the residence last December.
VCF Juvenil B and VCF Femenino C
Players from VCF Juvenil B and VCF Femenino C spent time with the residents in a display of the shared values between them.
Divided into small groups, they reflected on each of the values promoted by the VCF Academy's Psycho-Educative Department, before sharing them with the others.
The reunion ended with the promise of further activities and collaborations in the future.
Potríes Youth Shelter
In recent weeks there have also been activities of this type with other centres for minors, such as the Potríes Youth Shelter. A representation of young people from CAM Potríes visited the Ciudad Deportiva to meet with players from VCF Juvenil A and VCF Cadete A, VCF Femenino B and VCF Femenino C.
