Kang In celebrates 1-year anniversary of first team debut
Kang In celebrated one year since his first team debut for Valencia CF in the Matchday 11 game against Sevilla FC, and did so with a place in the starting lineup. The South Korean player, who had first turned out in an official encounter 365 days prior against CD Ebro in the Copa del Rey, was used as a striker alongside Maxi Gómes by coach Albert Celades.

He would play for 68 minutes in the game, and would have several opportunities to make his mark. Twelve minutes in, he made a clever run past several defenders, then three minutes later a brilliant left footed cross found Maxi Gomez, who struck wide. Before the 20 minute mark, he also hit a volley from a Ferran Torres ball that was a promising chance.

Taken off midway through the second half to be replaced by Rubén Sobrino, the VCF Academy product thrived in his role as a roving supporting striker. Now 20 games into his first team career, Kang In is proving to be one to watch for Valencia CF fans.
