Hugo Duro: "I think this fanbase is like no other in Spain and we have to give them what they deserve"
Hugo Duro spoke to the media immediately after the match. The striker from Madrid analysed what happened in the match against Cádiz CF (2-1) played at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.
Attitude
We came here as if it was a final. But, for me, it didn't seem like it from the inside. You can't be dominated for an entire half just because of attitude. We'll be more capable or not in the matches, and things will go better or worse for us, but attitude is not negotiable. I think there was a lack of attitude. It's the same as always. We don't react until we get the first blow. It can't be allowed. It's hard for us to react. Either we start from the beginning or from now until the end of the year it's going to cost us a lot.
Until the end
When we beat Valladolid we weren't machines, and today we're not a bunch of wankers. It's work. We know that we still depend on ourselves. I trust my teammates to the death. We depend on ourselves and I'm going to trust my teammates until the end.
Unconditional support
It's crazy the effort they put in. These people probably work from Monday to Friday and miss the whole weekend to come and watch us. It's priceless. think this fanbase is like no other in Spain and we have to give them what they deserve.
At least, having the right attitude, putting a shift in with grit and if they have to beat us, let it be because they are better and not because we lack attitude. I can't dedicate any more words to them. I've been showering them with flowers all year because they deserve it. We have to be up to the task. Have a good trip back. We hope to give them some joy on Wednesday.
