Hedewiges Maduro returns to Mestalla
Hedwiges Maduro left Valencia CF almost a decade ago. In the time that has passed, the Dutchman has made frequent returns to the city, but the COVID-19 pandemic had meant that it had been a while since he set foot in Mestalla. The former defender was able to make the most of a few days off to make the trip to Spain recently, and checked out the new additions to the Mestalla Forever Tour.
During his visit, Maduro was able to see the new room dedicated to the late club legend, Juan Cruz Sol. Of the former player and ambassador, he said that "For me, he is an example to follow. It's difficult to find a person with such passion for Valencia CF as Sol."
In addition, he looked at the Fallas 'Ninots' made during the past season to be handed over to the different visiting LaLiga teams, as part of the "Sempre Falles" initiative undertaken together with the Valencia City Council.
