Valencia CF were unable to claim a second LaLiga victory of the season in the match against SD Huesca, and coach Javi Gracia spoke about the Matchday 3 draw in his post-match press conference.
The team's performance
"We are working on feeling better and our aspiration is to improve game after game. In the matches we have played so far, we haven't been better than the opposition yet -even in the victory over Levante UD. We need work, we need time and we need to overcome adversity as a team. We are not only playing against our opponents; we are also searching for our identity and are almost playing against ourselves, gaining confidence with each pass and each minute of play. That is where we are at, seeing if we can achieve better results as the minutes and the matches go by."
A lack of shots on goal
"The statistic is true in terms of shots, but possession was quite even. Besides that, it is evident that this wasn't a good game, and that the opposition were the better side. We scored early and went ahead, unlike other games, and there were moments in which we had the impulse to try to score the second goal and seal the victory. We tried until the end and it wasn't to be, but we claimed a point. I don't want to say that it is a good result, but I think that it should be valued, since it was not a good game and the opponents were the better team."

What can be improved?
"Other games have seen chances and goals for the opposition at the beginning of the game. Today we didn't suffer from that at the start, but the opponents dominated possession. We were organised and played further back, but we were not comfortable in possession. We tried to have more control, but we didn't control the game."
Disappointment at dropping points
"I think I am displeased with the game; there have been three games so far, in which we have won, we have drawn and we have lost. We have many things to improve, and I experienced the game with the same enthusiasm as always to try to take the three points. It wasn't to be, but that certainly wasn't due to a lack of interest or desire."
