Foulquier: " This fight for survival is not easy, but we are all very switched on and we are going to stay up"

Dmitri Foulquier spoke with VCF Media after Valencia CF won 0-2 on the road against Elche, in a relegation six-pointer.
The win
We needed a victory. We had a good attitude; we'd been pushing to take points and we hadn't been able to in the last few games. Today the team worked very well and the fans also played their part. It's been an amazing day. And I hope this gives us the confidence to continue to take more points.
Feeling like at home
I had been looking at the gathering on social networks, but when we arrived it seemed like we were playing at home. It really is crazy, despite the situation we are in. I thank the fans very much and we are all going to achieve our objective together.
Finishing chances
In football, intensity is very important, but effectiveness is the most important thing. We've had matches that we've also started very well, in which we haven't taken the chances we've had at the beginning of the game and then struggled more. When you're winning, things feel a little better.
Sticking together
We haven't achieved survival today. There is a long way to go. This fight for survival is not easy, but we are all very switched on and we are going to stay up.
