Former teammates send Ayala birthday messages

Watch the greetings given to 'El Ratón' by some of those who lined up alongside him for Valencia CF

A host of his former teammates planned a surprise for Roberto Ayala's 47th birthday on Tuesday. Unable to see him in person, several of the side that achieved incredible success for Valencia CF in the early 2000s sent in video messages for their friend, which were played to him during an interview with VCF Media.

The Argentinian defender was wished a happy birthday by the likes of Mista, Cañizares, Baraja, Vicente, Angloma, Aurelio, Djukic and Marchena, who all remember his playing days with great fondness and are looking forward to catching up with him during his next trip to Valencia.
