FIRST $VCF FAN TOKENS SELL OUT IN A LITTLE OVER TWO HOURS
The first day in which the $VCF Fan Tokens went on sale was a resounding success for the initiative, with all available stocks selling out in a little over two hours. Fans demonstrated their interest in this innovative platform for interaction with the club, in which Valencia CF became the first club to launch one million Fan Tokens through the Socios.com app.
Global pioneers in promoting their Fan Tokens on the front of their 2021/22 season official shirt, Valencia CF join the more than 30 leading sports organisations that already use Fan Tokens and the Socios.com app.
$VCF Fan Tokens have been acquired by fans from five continents who, from now on, will be able to enjoy unique opportunities to interact with the club, participate in day-to-day decisions through surveys, and access exclusive promotions and discounts. In addition, they will be able to win prizes and rewards, such as tickets and VIP experiences, or interact with other Valencianistas through chats, games, contests, competitions and other aspects of the Socios.com app.
In the coming days, the subject of the first survey for which Fan Token holders can vote will be revealed. Those who were not able to get their $VCF Fan Tokens on launch day will be able to do so at a later date through the Socios.com app’s trading mode, with price established by supply and demand.
Socios.com is a platform that uses blockchain technology to offer sports organisations effective tools with which to retain their fans around the world. It brings together a community of more than 1.2 million sports fans who, through the app, interact daily with the clubs and organisations they support, whilst also having the chance to win exclusive prizes and gifts. Since its launch at the end of 2019, the app has allowed sports fans to participate in hundreds of decisions and has awarded exclusive products and experiences to an average of three fans per day.
