PUMA Welcome Academy held at Ciudad Deportiva

The Puma Welcome Academy event on Thursday night brought together 225 boys and girls from the VCF Academy's 8-a-side teams, along with their parents and companions, at the Ciudad Deportiva. Valencia CF players César Tárrega and Luis Rioja, VCF Femenino's Marta Carro and Ainhoa Alguacil, as well as Valencia CF president Layhoon Chan, also attended the event.

In addition to several football matches set up for the occasion, there were also different activities prepared by Puma in the Fan Zone, and contributions from the club's partners such as Skoda and Octopus. In a charitable action, the event also featured the collection of school supplies for the Associació Brufol del Cabañal and the Shelters of the Instituto laboral de Valencia, in collaboration with the Fundació VCF.

At the Antonio Puchades, the 15 8-a-side teams took part in a parade on the pitch.

Valencia CF's Luis Rioja and César Tárrega, together with recent debutants in the first team Martín Tejón and David Otorbi, greeted the children, as did VCF Femenino's Marta Carro and Ainhoa Alguacil, and VCF Femenino B players Emma Tovar and Diana Herrero.

All joined together for a group photo, alongside Valencia CF president Layhoon Chan, directors Khojama Kalimuddin and Ong Pang Liang, Corporate Director Javier Solís, and former players and current ambassadors Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Bossio.

VCF Academy director, Luis Martínez, spoke to the youngsters and encouraged them to keep growing.
