VCF Soccer Academy in Houston joins #AcademiaEnComunidad social action campaign

The VCF Soccer Academies run by Valencia CF around the globe have joined the #AcademiaEnComunidad social action campaign, launched this season by the VCF Academy in coordination with the VCF Foundation to help different groups and educate young talents about different values.
The first to join these social actions is the VCF Soccer Academy in Houston in the United States, which on December 19th is holding a toy and food donation day. Several of the players and members of the coaching staff will participate as volunteers.
The event will be carried out jointly with the church to which the pitches where the VCF Soccer Academy train and play in Houston belong, at The King’s Palace RCCG, in Katy (Houston).
The members of the VCF Soccer Academy have raised money that they will donate to the church, to buy more toys and food that will be distributed this Saturday. The day will be attended by the Valencia CF mascot and aimed at children up to 12 years old.
The Valencia CF Academy in Houston began its activity in 2020, and is part of the Valencia CF International Academies project, which already boasts 15 centres spread across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The aim is to spread the image of Valencia CF and the working methodology of the VCF Academy.
